It’s Midsummer, everyone! Let’s look at some Ovi Pick-up lines :)
All our Finnish readers know what day today is, but for those of you not in the “know”, today is “Juhannus”, which is called Midsummer in English. It’s a celebration of summer and the nightless nights that we have in June. It’s around this time that the day is longest in Finland and in some places the sun doesn’t set at all for a certain period of time! I live in Helsinki, but the higher up you go in Northern Finland, the shorter the night is.

The idea of a poll turned out to be quite popular (version “hotness in a bar” won, not surprisingly), so we figured we’ll do it again this week!

I don’t know about you guys, but I am SO looking forward to the weekend! For once it’s actually sunny (and warm!) here in Helsinki and I have a 4-pound (!) box full of fresh strawberries in my fridge with my name on it =) Ahhh… let the weekend begin!

It’s Fun Friday time! Did I hear you ask for more Ovi Pick-up Lines or something..?!
How’s everyone’s Friday going so far? =) I’m totally stoked about weekend coming up, as in a couple of hours I’ll get to close my laptop and head to Tampere for the weekend! That’s where I’m originally from and I just love that place… I always joke about how it’s so small that it’s not actually on the map etc., but it’s all coming from a place of love <3 It’s actually the third biggest city in Finland. But, you know. It’s still small.
