During the past three months, we have introduced you guys to altogether 15 people who work hard every day on making Ovi bigger and better. We’ve talked to people from all corners of the Ovi universe: Maps, Store, Connect, branding, social media, sustainability… and we have even more to come! We’ve also really enjoyed communicating with you, our amazing readers, and hearing your feedback in regard to the interviews (and everything else for that matter!). Keep it coming

It’s Monday, which means it’s Ovi People Interview time, y’all! July is already moving along nicely; is everyone already on summer holiday mode (or still working)? =) We here at Ovi Blog HQ don’t stop working, even if it’s wonderfully sunny outside, the sea is glistening all blue and inviting right outside your window and you can almost – just almost – smell the freshly cut grass outside Nokia House…

Last week we revealed our Ovi People-spinoff series, simply called “What are Ovi People doing on their holidays?” (since, you know, it’s summer now and even Ovi People have summer holidays Last week I did mini-interviews with Antti and our most recent interviewee Tiina, and this week I got a chance to talk to our very first interviewee Michiel and Emily from good ol’ Tampere. Like last week, the three simple questions I asked all interviewees were:

Monday, Monday… How was everyone’s weekend? I saw two birds fighting in the park on Saturday. Try and top that.

Phew, I survived “Juhannus”! In last Friday’s post I told you about the Finnish Juhannus (or “Midsummer” in English) and what a huge deal it is in Finland. I had the best time; there was, among other things, numerous trips to the sauna involved (like there always is, this is Finland we’re talking about after all, LOL)
