The Mapstronaut had a great time in Berlin visiting your suggestions. He met up with some amazing people whilst he was out there – particularly @taknil, @nokia_fan and @berlinique who all helped him out on his adventures. But as of this morning the Mapstronaut has landed in London! The final part of his three city tour, he’ll be spending today and tomorrow visiting your favourite places in and around the city.
On a brisk and rather rainy Monday morning, the Mapstronaut was keen to brighten up a few people’s days (who weren’t prepared to see a Mapstronaut wondering the streets), so to get everyone in the mood he started off by visiting Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea Football Club.
People began to light up when they saw our helmeted hero, stopping to pose for photographs at every opportunity. It may even have gone to the Mapstronaut’s head… but his poker face wasn’t letting up any show of emotion. Because he’s a pro like that. Here he is outside the London Eye:
The Mapstronaut then moved on to London’s famous comic book and fan collectables store, Forbidden Planet. The Mapstronaut fit right in there and, for the first time on his travels, the Mapstronaut faded into the background…
In a completely different move, the Mapstronaut swiftly moved on to soak up a bit of history and culture at the British Museum. Little known fact about the Mapstronaut: he’s a big fan of Greek pottery…
