As we have explained before, the new Nokia Maps Suite brings you the latest version of Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and the new Nokia Public Transport applications. It also comes with key application shortcuts developed specifically for Nokia Belle so that you can instantly access useful information such as guides, and your current location.

My love of travel, social media and technology brought me the opportunity to work with Nokia Maps. I swear by offline navigation, and Nokia maps walk, drive and public transport routing – it has helped me a lot whenever I explore new cities by myself. I love the feeling of whipping my Nokia Lumia or Nokia N8 out in a new city, doing a quick search and telling other which places to explore and how to go there – just like a local!

Are you a Nokia Lumia user? Then you probably have downloaded Nokia Maps already, but if this is not the case, just open the Windows Phone Marketplace on your Nokia Lumia and download it from the Nokia Collection section.

If you’ve tried the Public Transport app before, you already know how awesome it is to check routes, trip duration, and departure times easily, right from your phone. And now with the new Public Transport on your Nokia Belle smartphone you can get public transport directions to anywhere on the map.

Do you regularly check in with your friends, letting them know where you are and what you’re up to? Some of my friends are great at staying in touch, but I often find life is just too busy to touch base with too many people too often. But now that I have the Nokia MyLocation widget for my Nokia Belle smartphone, a quick check-in is so much easier—and less of a commitment—than a call, text, or email would be.
